    1. It’s not as easy as one might think if other members of the family are not on board.

In some respects it’s a bit like religion.
If people refuse to acknowledge evidence there’s little one can do.
And oddly enough Emily does not eat lamb, (for similar reasons as seen in this video) but will eat all other meat. Most odd.

      1. We aren’t vegan but in the current terms, flexitarian. We eat very little meat, just happily grown local chickens and I have never eaten lamb. One of our daughters is vegan and we share recipes regularly.

        1. I’m 90% vegan. I confess to eating the eggs from our own chickens. Like the dogs, the hens are rescue birds that would have ended up on someone’s menu, I suspect. There are probably a few other things that sneak by me because of my non vegan family, but I have to be tolerant and mindful of keeping a happy home.

  1. Another emotional appeal. A tad disingenuous when the gal says (upon seeing a lamb) ‘what’s this?’ making someone who eats meat look stupid?? Is that the message? Oh gee, I never saw a lamb before.

But viral? Must be tons of people who cannot process information. But more ark. While the vid is clever, what’s alarming is the refusal to see that hypocrisy abounds by the average vegan as they put on their leather shoes/ sit on their leather couch/ don their leather gloves/ leather hat/ leather belt/leather jacket/ leather seats in their CARS/ etc etc etc/

How about a new ad” ‘Oh, I didn’t know how shoes were made from crocs…………….’ I’m a vegan though!!

but they sure feel good for enjoying the hide……but abhorring the meat?

How about show some fairness and say ‘good point. Hypocrites everywhere.’

    1. When I was about 12, I got some new neighbors that moved out from the city. Larry was a year older than me and his first visit to our farm he asked me “what are those?” They’re chickens, I said. He replied “oh, I like fried chicken”. He didn’t know. The video should raise awareness, that’s all. As a believer you should be used to using misrepresentation to prove a point—seems to be quite natural for you, but now a little fuss over an add that does what Christianity does every day?

      1. Tks jim/ but an adult Israeli smart woman KNEW what a lamb was. That’s my point, as clever as it was.

But misrepresentation by me? Hmmm. Can you cite ONE example? (maybe make your own post about MY shortcomings so as not to take this post here off the rails)

        1. The ”What’s this” comment the husband made and not the wife … was in reference to the action (of being handed the lamb) not ignorance of the animal itself.
I’m serious, do you attend some sort of night class to be this fucking asinine or is it part of the package-deal of being a fundamentalist Christian flat-earther?

          1. I’m serious. I know full well what the vid is- from BOTH viewpoints. Good for you that you choose to deny your body the benefits of certain nutrients that others do not.

Doesn’t make you a better person/ nor does it make them worse. Seems odd you refused to address my LEATHER points- something that your other readers will find helpful.

Christianity? Leave uit out of your discussion. shape of the earth? I have consistently crushed all opposing viewpoints. Do you know of anyone incl. you, who has first hand witnessed Mt Everest move and spin?

C’mon, you brought it up. Have you? And no, Disney cartoons and paper theories are not evidence. So who is science challenged here???

Right. Let’s see how knowledgeable you are about nutrition and health.
What am I missing out on?
Be specific and explain the function of the nutrients you consider I am lacking.
If you can’t provide full details and back them up with scientific data then you are simply shooting your mouth off.

Where was this about being a better person? If you are unable to understand about compassion and empathy towards animals and the fact humans do not need to consume animal protein then you are thick as two short planks.
I didaddress the leather points, in the general sense.
            Read the comment again.

The reference to Christianity and flat earther was to illustrate how fucking stupid you are – a point you have once again confirmed with your follow-up comment.

You do my head in. Honestly, you must be enjoying the biggest and longest-running wind up ever, or else you are simply insane.

          3. (but you should thank me for bringing opposing views/ fortunately I am mature enough to ignore the incessant insults/ Are you aware ark that conservation of land includes proper management of deer herds for example? Are you aware that the whitetail deer in the US are responsible for more deaths of drivers trying to avoid them? So don’t come crying me a river about compassion.

But hmmm. Now there’s a point worthy of a PhD dissertation. ‘What is insanity?’

How did all those heavy immoveable rocks appear at an altitude of 28,000 ft on K-2 while at the same time other rocks sit comfortably at sea level…..

OOh ooh, call on me teacher! Back to your post.

We had a friend over from England a few years back. He had a new wife and her young son, (7) Adam thought beans were made and only came out of a tin. He never realised they were actually something that was grown.

Back home he had lived primarily on take out meals!
For the short time he lived with us it was an eye opener,

Well, I am sure there are hypocrites in every sphere – look at you for example.
A hypocrite and an ignorant twat.
However, unlike people such as you, there are some who at least do try,
It is often a slow process, hindered by ingrained cultural indoctrination and dumb-fucks like you which only makes the process more difficult.
