You do have a flair for birds. Many years of training I assume? 😉
Happy New Year “Mate”. 🙏🏻

I’ve enjoyed a bit of ornithology since I was a kid. My photographic interest, however, was really sparked once I got my hands on a digital camera and a telephoto lens.
All the very best for ’21,to you Brian. Let’s hope it turns out to be a little less ”interesting” , for all of us, yes?.

I was thinking of other kinds of “bird” watching, but you are right. Now the right equipment is not enough. You have the eye. And the hand (key with a zoom)
Likewise. We could use a little boredom. 😉

Great selection Ark! Some of your birds look prehistoric! Thank you for introducing me to birds I’ve never heard of before. Happy New Year! 🙂

Well, I sometimes feel a bit prehistoric myself these days so perhaps it is apt that the birds and I share some sort of kinship?
🙂
All the very best to you , Lisa.

hehehe! I’m a 55 year old graphic designer so when I still had my job before covid, “the guys” would make old jokes. Like…”you remember back when you wrote graphics on the cave walls with a rock”. I’m okay with that. Means I may know more than the younguns. 🙂

I have always believed it is important to be ”in” something.
In the garden, In the moment, In touch, In love.
So In corrigible sounds good to moi.

A fine set of ‘wings’. Especially love the owl.

He’s a treat, isn’t he? These were taken a while back, and we haven’t seen the owls on such a regular basis, although they are heard from time to time.

Beautiful plumage!
But what is the airspeed velocity of an unladen African swallow? (asking for a friend)
