  1. πŸ˜„ We must find our solace somehow, eh? πŸ˜‰

I’ve submitted two comments over on Joel Edmund Anderson’s About page, but I see he Moderates everything. πŸ™„

Ya know, censorship is only needed when someone is truly an asshole, bullying, and totally detracting from the topic at hand. Censoring others who merely think differently, use scientific and historical methods, use critical-thinking skills in an equitable way (as is possible for imperfect humans), and ask civil questions—granted with a little spice sometimes πŸ˜‰ —and employ common scrutiny to what is proclaimed, stated as “truth.” Constructive criticism never hurts anyone. If we humans DON’T do that for each other, how on Earth will we evolve, progress, and ACT like the self-proclaimed superior species and not go extinct? Repeating history, stupidity, and never challenging systems, learning, perfecting, advancing better systems… is the only way we Homo sapiens get close to the hallowed title of “Supreme Species” on this planet. Right? πŸ€” πŸ˜‰

      1. 1-0 is hardly ”whoop ass”, and an unfortunate own goal at that.
But I was pleased they weathered the storm so to speak without Virgil.
Interesting that Klopp took off the Front Three all at the same time. Never done that before.

Anyway, it was a pretty good start to the Champions League campaign all things considered.

        1. 🀭 Did you pickup on my fictitious satire?

But the loss of Van Dijk would be huge for any club. Period. I think Virgil will return a bit sooner than doctors expect. Here’s to hoping the Reds do indeed endure the storms coming without him. 🍻

    1. PT, your comment about censorship only being needed when someone is truly an asshole? Haven’t you learned by now that to many Christian bloggers, anyone who disagrees with them fits that category?

  2. I was never a “soccer” fan (in quotes because that is such a US term). I do have to say that in the past few years of catching a few games on tv, they have got to be the most in-shape athletes I’ve seen, maybe besides track stars.
