Max the hen and Whitefoot the kitten share a moment.
We have an Albino Pigeon, named ‘Buzz’ that was born on our property and even though he has left the nest, he does return from time to time. This rather fat fledgling made a recent appearance and we suspect it is the offspring of ‘Buzz’. We have yet to name it. Feel free to offer some (clean!) suggestions.
The growing season is upon us and here, one of my early potatoes, and a red onion make a welcome appearance.
Proving Spring is well on the way, my neighbours’ plum tree gloriously decked out in white.
Not all warm and cozy! Ice from one of the water buckets. A few nights ago the barometer fell through the proverbial floor and the overnight temperature dropped to minus 2.
Aeonium ‘Zwartkop’ black rose succulent blooming by the pond.
The Garden Orb Weaver which took up residence among a patch of Lavender several months ago is still with us and after a couple of moults looking even more gorgeous.
And another of the African Green Pigeon.

Lovely to see the start of Spring for you as we begin to turn to Autumn. Gorgeous shots, as always. 🙂

Evenings are still pretty parky, but in a month or so it should be nice and warm.

That picture of the kitten and the hen … it looks like Max is saying to Whitefoot, “C’mon! Let’s play!”

Can’t seem to be able to open your blog, Ark. Must be a bug in WP. Shall come back. Hope all is well with you?

Your garden, I repeat, should be branded a National Park.
Cat and chicken go along? Wow.

A good example that peace can be achieved… Only the human animal doesn’t get it… Cheers from a Mexico afternoon.
