After hitting record highs in Jo’burg for November it decided to rain ….
for three days, and then the mist rolled in.
Someone nicked the Tower.
Hadeda Ibis sits it out. No on-board lights so can’t fly in the fog.
But at least the veggies welcome the rain.
Bunch of has beans.
Kammy braves the rain
And the chickens don’t seem to mind.
But enough already … Mak, send the sun back down south, if you please.
Ark
Pretty pool with all of the pots growing so well.

The pool is used as a koi pond, although my son swims in it when the weather warms up.

Veggies look brilliant, but the weather looks just like ours – back to rain and gloom.

Mak has promised to send the sun back down south after he’s done his laundry or something!

He needs to send it both ways then. Just looked at the weather over the next week or so. Only a glimpse of sun between more and more rain.

Likewise down here for the next few days, and Eskom have announced there will be load shedding! (Power cuts).
Wet, cold … and dark.

Does Kammy also enjoy getting saturated and then coming in to dry off on one’s bed? I have to keep a towel handy.

Her no, but a couple of the other younger ones do.

These are great shots. The garden ones make me want to go out, shovel off the snow, and start next spring’s garden.
Kammy looks as if she’s got parts from about three different cats. What unusual markings!

I haveta tell ya Ark, that is a GORGEOUS backyard, pond, animal sanctuary, and seemingly a home of PURE tranquility! Why in the world your wife chose you AND stuck with you is beyond me! đŸ˜‰ đŸ˜› You are one lucky chap Sir! Lol

Well, it wasn’t my gimpy leg, the squint, the rabid support of Liverpool, my somewhat mobile toupe, cauliflower ear or athlete’s foot up to my knee, that I can tell you.

And that was your abbreviated list, right? đŸ˜‰ đŸ˜›

You has beans?
We too are in a state of ongoing winter. I even bought a UV lamp last week. Should have done it years ago (gotta get the ol’ vitamin D fix somehow and God certainly ain’t coming to the party this year) (so far).
