I grew up listening to Jazz-Rock-Fusion.
The Mahavishnu Orchestra were one of the finest collection of musicians ( some say the finest) ever, in this genre .
I can’t think of anything found in today’s music that is comparable, either in technical ability or compositional skill.
This is one of my favorite pieces from this awesome band.
Put on your ear goggles and have a listen.

Haven’t found many folk who like this type of music.
I’m beginning to not only show my age but also feel it.
I suspect the time will come when a line such as :
”Yeah, remember the Beatles?”
To which the response will be:
”Who?’

How did this escape me all these years? I love finding new oldies. I guess we are the new oldies now, or getting close to it. Nice thing—with these new blue tooth hearing aids I could crank it up this early morning and rock out nice and smooth without waking everyone. Hehe. Thanks Ark
