Couldn’t watch any games yesterday, even USA v Qatar. Won’t get to see any games today either including opening games Sunday and Monday because the U.S. isn’t playing until Tuesday! 😠 The other popular American sports tournaments, particularly the U.S. Women’s Open golf championship, and popular sports talk-shows for “general sporting fans” are given top TV priority here rather than the completely unknown FIFA U-20 World Cup — it’s all about advertising $$dollars$$ for American TV sponsors here not support of our boys.

Cool! We’ll start with the Champions League final tomorrow evening. My godson is bringing pizza. You can stand for the beer.

Well, now FOX Sports will show the UEFA Final, thank the stars and galaxies! 🙄 The UEFA Champions League (even the Europa League) have become popular enough. Remember, we’re only behind you lads & lasses by some 200-years. 😉

Though Ajax this year was no pushover, the Spurs had an easier road… or SHOULD have. Liverpool has fought the harder road to this final. They deserve the trophy! I just don’t see Tottenham having the same offensive potency and attack as Liverpool. If they play with no defensive mistakes or just 1 or 2 they get away with… they’ve got this one in the bag Sir! 🙂
