Leading you up the garden path: Blowing Bubbles

A number of insect species blow bubbles and there are several theories why, including cleaning their mouth-parts, but scientists have not been able to say for sure why they do it.

And then forgot to tell us why

  1. Could they just be rather juvenile and like other species on earth just like to play with bubbles? Then again it could be “ours is not to wonder why, ours is simply to blow bubbles and die”. OR maybe I am full of….gas bubbles. 🙂 Hugs

      1. “Enormous” over reaction is what happens at 3 am after a few cocktails when a large house spider drops on bare skin while standing in the middle of my bedroom. Not proud of my shriek and stomp annihilation, I’m all about catch and release. Sigh

        1. To heck with shriek, if a large spider dropped onto my bare skin I would have been the first human hovercraft, milliseconds before I launched into a frenzied “slap rub violently thrashing about” in an attempt to see if my personal molecules can accelerate back in time before my mind shatters by fear. Yup , that about sums up my rather normal reaction. 🙂 Hugs

            1. Not me , I hate bugs. I am trying to be better about it with all I am learning from Ark and a few others. But it is just an instant reaction of fear. Not sure why. Off to read you post. Hugs
