The neighbour’s cat, Ginger, who for all intent and purpose has adopted us. He now pitches up every day and indulges in at least Two Squares which he helps himself to whenever the back door is open. He seems to spend a lot of time following me around the garden these days as well!

Trying out a method of no weeding by laying down a thick layer of mulch over the vegetable patch in the back garden. It didn’t work so good last season, maybe with the better rainfall this year it might pay dividends. I loathe weeding!
