Beeing there.

Carpenter Bee.

    • Thanks, Scottie.
No, same set up. The flower the bee is on is an invasive creeper and I was contemplating how I was going to get it all out the garden when the bee flew by my left ear and landed on the creeper.

  1. Is this the bee that doesn’t live in a hive with others but a hole in the wall sort of bee? I had one three inches from my nose – buzzing furiously. Discovered I was blocking his front door and moved pronto.

    • Hi, Footsy!
Yes. It is a solitary bee. And quite a large one, too. About 2.5 times the size of a normal honey bee. or if memory serves, around about the size of a bigger Bumble Bee.
